- S: One of the characters is so reserved that it becomes almost hard to watch. Additionally some rather curious interactions with a human head and an oddly behaved bratty character make
for some strange scenes.
- C: Some moments of greatness visually. However, there are way too many instances of lense flare, particularly in the beginning of the film. Additionally, the editing to transition
between the parallel stories doesn't do a great job of communicating the shift in time/perspective.
- E: Very energetic watch let down only by a sudden shift in perspective without much communication to the viewer. The violent nature of the film really plays well with
the story and with Christopher Abbot and Barry Keoghan's performances.
- N: Conceptually quite great. The story is excellent, but some of the execution is lacking. The bratty antagonist kid character isn't well communicated or fleshed out
very well in the film. His character seems to make great leaps in behavior back and forth without much sense to it.
- T: The film received two bonus points. One for a incredible well orchestrated and sound designed gunshot scene and one for a brutal scene involving putting dying animals out of their misery.
This film has some greatness in it, but it feels like something is missing from the story. Michael is such an interesting character, but his behavior is inconsistent throughout
the story given his emotional state. It's close, but it's not quite right.
