- Sensibility: A bit about a seating arrangement and a bit about amp limits are bothersome nonsense details in a fairly sensibly told true story.
- Cinematography: Production design is the highlight of this film, but perhaps the presence of so many legendary space films takes away from its luster. Some extremely awkward scene transitions, like a salad bowl dropping and a coffee cup coming down on a desk, take away from the flow of the film.
- Energy: Solid, fun watch with some side-story action that is unfortunately just a wasteful distraction.
- Narrative: Great true story that went unnoticed and largely un-remembered relative to the brilliance of the first moon landing. Some of the rather cinematic twists and turns feel a bit too artificial, but the structure and display of the teamwork and technological feats involved are excellent.
- T-Points: The film received two bonus points: one for a shot of the reflection of screens in a man's glasses and one for rain in the cockpit.
A film with such a great underlying story but little added on top to take it over the edge. With so many great films about space, one really needs to swing for the fences to make something unique.
